The 10 day Bogenfels Artists’ Retreat saw 7 artists living and working in the ‘Pink House’, an old hospital building in the abandoned mining town of Bogenfels. Artists Barbara Böhlke, Hercules Viljoen, Nicky Marais, Ndinomholo Ndilula, Jade Tune, Actofel Ilovu and Charné Witbooi worked alongside each other and the desert landscape to produce a variety of artworks ranging from paintings to linoleum block prints to video and site specific work.
